Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your PeptideTrack account and all associated data, in compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) (which requires apps to provide an in-app account deletion flow with a clear public-facing description).
Quick steps (in-app)
- Open the PeptideTrack app on your iPhone.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field to confirm.
- Tap Delete my account.
The deletion is irreversible. You will be signed out immediately. All locally stored data is wiped, and a request to remove your backend data is sent.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account:

What is NOT deleted automatically
Your Apple subscription
Cancelling your PeptideTrack subscription is a separate action handled by Apple. Deleting your PeptideTrack account does not stop the subscription from auto-renewing.
To cancel the subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name → Subscriptions → PeptideTrack Pro → Cancel Subscription.
We recommend cancelling the subscription before deleting the account, so you have access to Settings → Subscription → Manage as a shortcut into Apple's flow.
Apple Health data
Any data Apple Health shared with PeptideTrack while you used the app stays in Apple Health (it was never copied to our backend). To revoke access for any future install of PeptideTrack:
- Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → PeptideTrack.
- Toggle off any data type, or tap Delete All Data.
Can't access the app?
If you cannot open the app (for example, you uninstalled it before deleting your account, or you've changed devices), email support@peptidetrackapp.com with:
- The Apple ID email associated with your account, or
- The display name and approximate sign-up date
We will manually delete your backend account within 7 days and confirm by reply.
Data retention after deletion

We retain server access logs (IP addresses tied to API calls) for 14 days for security and abuse-investigation purposes; these are pruned automatically.
Re-creating an account
If you delete your account and later want to use PeptideTrack again, you can install the app and sign in with the same Apple ID. A new, empty account will be created. Your previous data cannot be restored, even by us, because it has been purged.
