Frequently asked questions
General
What is PeptideTrack?
A personal tracking and logging app for adults who already manage their own peptide and compound regimens under their physician's care. We do not sell anything, recommend anything, or provide medical advice.
Who is it for?
Adults 18+ who want one private place to track doses, bloodwork, body metrics, photos, and side effects, and to share that data with their doctor.
Is it FDA approved?
No. PeptideTrack is a journal and reference tool. It is not a medical device and does not require FDA clearance. See our Medical Disclaimer.
Dose tracking
How does the calendar handle Mon/Wed/Fri schedules?
You pick a recurrence (one-time, daily, Mon/Wed/Fri, Tue/Thu/Sat, weekly, or twice-weekly) when you add the first dose. The app expands that into 12 weeks of future occurrences and keeps topping up as time passes, so the calendar always shows what's coming.
Will I get reminders?
Yes. Each scheduled dose gets a local notification at the time you set, with the lead time you configure in Settings → Notifications (5 to 60 minutes ahead).
How do I edit a recurring dose?
Open any occurrence in the calendar, tap Edit, and change what you need. By default, edits propagate to all future, not-yet-completed occurrences in the same series. Past completed doses stay as a record.
How do I cancel a series?
Open any occurrence and tap Remove this and all future.
Bloodwork upload
What lab formats does the upload support?
Any text-based PDF (Quest, LabCorp, Marek, Ulta, etc.) and any photo of a printed report. PDFs are read instantly. Photos use on-device OCR (about 15 MB downloaded once on first scan).
Does my lab data leave my phone?
No. PDFs and images are processed entirely on-device. Files are never uploaded to a server.
It didn't recognize my biomarker. What now?
Tap Enter manually on the upload screen and pick from the panel presets (TRT, GLP-1, thyroid, lipids, inflammation, plus 25+ more). You can also build a custom marker.
Reconstitution calculator
What does it do?
You enter the vial size, the volume of bacteriostatic water you reconstituted with, and the dose you want to draw. It tells you the volume in milliliters and the corresponding mark on a 100-unit insulin syringe, with a visual fill line. It also tracks doses-per-vial and days-per-vial so you know when to reorder.
Does it work for any peptide?
The math is the same regardless of compound; the calculator handles any vial-and-water combination you enter.
Inventory
How does inventory deduction work?
Add each vial you have, including its size, the bacteriostatic water you used, and the per-dose target. Every time you mark a scheduled dose as completed, the calculator subtracts the volume from that vial automatically. You see remaining doses and a low-inventory warning at 3 doses left.
Apple Health
What does PeptideTrack pull from Apple Health?
Weight, heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, and height — only if you grant each permission. We never write back to Apple Health unless you explicitly log a weight in PeptideTrack and have weight-write enabled.
The permission popup didn't appear when I toggled Apple Health on.
Apple shows the consent sheet only the first time you toggle each data type. If you previously responded to it, the toggle won't reshow it. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → PeptideTrack to grant or revoke individual data types.
Subscription
How much does it cost?
Annual: $18.99/year with a 3-day free trial. Monthly: $4.99/month with no trial.
How do I cancel?
iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PeptideTrack Pro → Cancel. Or tap Settings → Subscription → Manage in the app, which deep-links to the same place.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. PeptideTrack cannot grant refunds directly.
I lost access after reinstalling. What do I do?
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchase. Your active subscription will unlock automatically based on your Apple ID.
Privacy and data
Where is my data stored?
Almost everything is on your device only. The exceptions are Community posts, comments, votes, peer reviews, and uploaded post images, which are stored on our managed Supabase backend. See our Privacy Policy.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.
Do you use ads or analytics SDKs that track me?
No. There are no advertising SDKs in PeptideTrack. We do not use cross-app tracking.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Export report generates a PDF (formatted for a clinical visit) or a CSV (spreadsheet-compatible) of your dose log, biomarkers, body metrics, side effects, and optionally your check-ins.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Account → Delete account. See Account Deletion for full details.
Community
Why is the Community 18+?
The compounds discussed in the app are not safe for anyone under 18, and the conversations include personal medical experiences.
How do you moderate posts?
Every post and comment has a Report and Block option. We act on reports within 24 hours. Repeat or severe violations are permanent bans. See Community Guidelines.
Can I delete my Community posts?
Yes. Tap the ⋯ menu on any post you've made and choose Delete. The text rows and any uploaded images are removed from our backend immediately.
